A Secret in the Silence

The night had fallen into a deep, heavy silence. Ayesha stood by the window, staring outside—but her thoughts were far away.
The door opened softly behind her.
“You came…” she said without turning.
“I couldn’t stay away,” his voice was low, steady, and filled with something she couldn’t ignore.
She slowly turned to face him. Their eyes met, and the world seemed to pause. There was something unspoken between them—something growing stronger with every second.
He stepped closer, close enough that she could feel his breath.
“We should stop…” she whispered, though her feet didn’t move.
“If we were meant to stop… I wouldn’t be here,” he replied with a faint smile.
His words lingered in the air.
Gently, he took her hand and pulled her closer. Her heart began to race, but she didn’t resist. The warmth between them felt too real to deny.
And then it happened.
His lips met hers—slow at first, but filled with deep emotion. The kiss wasn’t just a moment, it was a secret they both shared. Ayesha closed her eyes, as if trying to hold onto that feeling forever.
Time faded away.
When they finally pulled apart, their breaths were uneven, their hearts still racing.
“This isn’t right…” she whispered.
He leaned in, resting his forehead against hers.
“Maybe not… but some moments aren’t meant to be right… just unforgettable.”
And that night, they lived a moment that would remain their secret forever.
