Your Touch Made Me Forget Every Rule I Ever Knew

wasn’t supposed to be here.
Not with you. Not this close.
You were everything I had promised myself to avoid—dangerous, unpredictable, impossible to resist. And yet, there I was, standing inches away, feeling my heartbeat betray every rule I ever believed in.
“Say it,” you whispered, your voice low, steady. “Say you don’t feel this.”
I tried. I really did.
But when your hand gently lifted my chin, forcing my eyes to meet yours, the words disappeared. Your gaze wasn’t just intense—it was consuming. Like you already knew the answer.
“This is wrong,” I managed to say, though my voice lacked conviction.
“Maybe,” you replied, stepping closer. “But it doesn’t feel wrong, does it?”
No. It didn’t.
Your fingers brushed along my arm, slow and deliberate, sending a shiver through me. My breath caught, and suddenly every reason to walk away felt distant… meaningless.
Then you pulled me closer.
And I didn’t stop you.
Your lips met mine—soft at first, almost testing. But the moment I responded, everything changed. The kiss deepened, turning urgent, full of everything we had been holding back.
Time blurred.
Thoughts vanished.
Rules shattered.
I held onto you like letting go would break something inside me, and maybe it already had. Your touch, your warmth—it erased every doubt, every fear, every line I swore I’d never cross.
When we finally pulled apart, breathless, everything felt different.
“You see?” you murmured, your forehead resting against mine.
I closed my eyes, knowing there was no going back.
Because in that single moment—
I had already forgotten every rule I ever knew.
